Arta Gashi Loxha is an Albanian-American artist living in New York City. Following a deep-rooted childhood love of mythology, art and all things mystical, Arta studied visual art at the “Fame” school, LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and the Performing arts, and went on to earn a BFA in Studio Arts from Hunter College in December 2007. She currently works as a freelance artist, writing, drawing, and designing clothing and jewelry based on her Albanian culture, and the folklore surrounding it.
